PTSA General Meeting

Tuesday 4/9 at 6:00 pm in the Library

Please join us to vote on the slate for your 2019-2020 PTSA executive board.

We would love for you to join us in that vote along with some other PTSA business. We would also welcome the discussion of what the membership would like to see from the PTSA board in the coming year.

Proposed Board Slate

President: Danica Gittelman

Vice President: Marlena Tang

Secretary: Kerri Spruston

Treasurer: Natalie Krelle-Zepponi

Historian: Amy Reticker

Nominating Committee: Saly LaSan (Chairperson), Shae Brown, Lisa Jovick and Deb Burdulis (alternate)

Please consider joining the board in another capacity! We have some open board positions which can be appointed and don’t require a vote. Please see more information on that below.

Positions we still need to fill:

Volunteer coordinator – recruit volunteers for garden/schoolyard clean-ups, photocopying, book fair, etc…

Membership chair – promote PTSA membership, manage our database of members and collect dues.

Parliamentarian – attend all meetings and review the bylaws when necessary, form a committee to update/rewrite the bylaws (needs to be done every 3 years), and oversee formation of nominating committee for next board elections.

Please join us for a PTSA General meeting. Tuesday Feb. 19th, 6pm, in the library.

Join us for a roundtable discussion about high school readiness and enrollment strategies. 6th and 7th grade parents come and find out what you can be thinking about this semester, 8th grade parents and parents of alum we’d love to have your input on what worked for your child and how to streamline the process. This is meant to be a parent, guardian and (potentially) student discussion rather than a workshop.
